Steering 0° fires perpendicular to the array; positive angles turn the beam counter-clockwise. A mirror beam on the other side of the array is expected: a single row radiates both ways. At 0.5 λ or less there are never extra beams; wider spacing adds them (grating lobes) once the beam is steered. λ is measured in open space; inside a slower medium the waves are shorter. Drag on the canvas to move the array.
